These Terms of Service (“Terms”), End User License Agreement, and other documents referenced herein (collectively, the “Agreement”) are a binding agreement between Total Security Limited (incorporated in England under number 10161957) doing business (or trading) as TotalAV™ (“Total Security Group”, “we,” “us,” or “our”) and you (“you,” “yourself,” “User,” or “Customer”). This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions of your use of all Total Security Group's products and services (collectively, the “Services”). Within the scope of such Services, this Agreement covers both (i) your service plan; and (ii) any additional services you order to supplement your service plan, as further described on Our Services & Prices page. By accessing, using, purchasing any product or service offered by us, or registering for or receiving any of the Services, you are agreeing to be bound by this Agreement.
If you do not accept and agree to this Agreement then you must not access or use the Services.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS SUBJECT TO A MANDATORY ARBITRATION PROVISION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER SET FORTH BELOW WHICH REQUIRE YOU TO ARBITRATE DISPUTES WITH US ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A COURT HEARING, RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL, AND RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION UNLESS YOU OPT-OUT.
For Users in the United States: Mandatory Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
Certain entities and individuals are prohibited from using the Services pursuant to trade and economic sanctions and export and control laws. These restrictions prohibit companies and their subsidiaries from engaging in all or certain commercial activities with certain sanctioned countries (“Sanctioned Country”) and certain individuals, organizations, entities, or domain names (“Sanctioned National)” (see, for example, the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control restrictions on companies and their subsidiaries and related individuals that are named on the “Specially Designated Nationals” list). You are prohibited from registering for or signing up with, subscribing to, or using the Services if you are located in a Sanctioned Country or are listed as, or associated with a Sanctioned National or anyone set forth on the Specially Designated Nationals list, as determined by Total Security Group in its sole discretion. Registration, signing up, purchasing, or using the Services from any Sanctioned Country is a material violation of this Agreement, and grounds for immediate account termination by Total Security Group without the right to recover any of your data or fees which you have paid (or pre-paid) for such Services.
Initial Term and Automatic Renewal. The initial subscription term for the Services will be the term you selected at the time of purchase (e.g., monthly or 12 months) (the “Initial Term”). Except in the case of trial offers, the Services will automatically renew for the same term length (each a “Renewal Term”) as the Initial Term. The Initial Term and any Renewal Terms are collectively referred to as the “Term.” All monthly and 12-month subscriptions will renew automatically at the end of each Term unless you cancel before the renewal date.
A renewal notice will be sent to you at least 30 days in advance of your scheduled renewal date (the “Renewal Notice”). In some cases, we may offer to renew your subscription on a shorter term (e.g., 6 months) at a prorated rate to help maintain uninterrupted access to the Services. This may be included proactively in your Renewal Notice, or offered reactively if our attempt to process your original renewal fails.
In the case of a reactive offer, you will be notified by email with a minimum of 7 days’ notice before the shorter-term renewal is processed. This email will include the revised term, pricing, and clear instructions on how to cancel if you do not wish to continue.
To help ensure uninterrupted access to your subscription, we may use card network services such as Visa Account Updater and Mastercard Automatic Billing Updater to automatically refresh your payment credentials if your card is lost, reissued, or expires.
All payment information is securely tokenized and encrypted by our billing platform provider, Chargehive. Tokenization replaces your card number with a randomly generated identifier provided by your card network or payment processor. This enables secure, recurring billing without storing sensitive card data.
By subscribing, you authorize the use of these technologies to support automated payment processing and maintain continuity of your subscription.
You may update your payment method or opt out of auto-renewal at any time via your online account portal.
If a renewal payment is unsuccessful, we may retry the charge using the payment methods available on your account or alternate credentials provided by your card issuer through network tokens and supported card updater services. In some instances, and where permitted, we may notify you ahead of your renewal date to offer an alternative term (e.g., six (6) months instead of twelve (12) months) at a prorated rate to help avoid disruption to your Services. From time to time, and at our sole discretion, we may offer temporary price adjustments or one-time discounts to facilitate uninterrupted access to your subscription services . Any such adjustment will be communicated in your renewal confirmation email if successful and will not constitute a permanent change to your renewal rate which may apply only to a single billing cycle. Your subscription will revert to your original agreed renewal price at the end of the discounted period unless otherwise notified. We also work with authorised third parties to assist with payment processing.
Cancelation of Services
You may cancel any active Service at any time during your Term.
To manage or cancel your subscriptions, log in to your online portal and select "My Subscriptions" from the left-hand navigation menu. From there, you can click "Cancel Subscription" next to each service you wish to end. This is the fastest and easiest way to cancel without the need of speaking with support, more details can be found here. Alternatively, you may contact us through our Help Center or call 833-386-3951 for assistance.
By default, a cancelation will stop future billing at the end of your current subscription Term. You will retain access to the Services until the end of the Term, and no refund will be issued unless a termination and refund request is submitted as described below.
Requesting Termination and Refunds
If you wish to receive a refund, you must request that your subscription be terminated immediately—meaning your access to the Services will cease upon request. Refunds are not issued for cancelations that allow service access to continue through the end of the current Term.
To be eligible for a refund, your termination and refund request must be submitted within the applicable timeframes below:
Refunds are only issued when a termination and refund request is made within the applicable timeframes and in accordance with this Agreement, unless otherwise required by local law.
Managing Multiple Services
Each subscription on your account is treated as a separate billing agreement. Cancelling or terminating one service will not automatically affect any others. You must manage or cancel each subscription individually via "My Subscriptions" or by contacting support.
Termination by Total Security Group
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately and without notice if we reasonably believe you are in breach of this Agreement or if your use could damage, disable, or impair our systems or networks. In such cases, you are not eligible for a refund of any amounts paid.
Effects of Cancelation or Termination
